I've been putting off writing this until there was certain news of our relocation. If you've seen or contacted us recently I'd like to apologise for the unusually slow response while I have been preoccupied in finding us new digs.
I'm delighted to say that at long last we have secured new premises and as we got the keys late last week, the move is already underway. We've got to slap some paint about, but we are aiming to be operational at the new site from Monday 5th July.
Our new address will be:
Unit E1, Watlington Industrial Estate, Cuxham Road, Watlington, Oxfordshire, OX49 5LU
This is a very exciting time for Jack, Shawn & I. The new workshop is over twice the size of our current one, allowing us to house everything under a single (watertight) roof and give us room to expand.
Many of you will be grateful that we will be easier to find as we are moving 15mins further into South Oxfordshire on the outskirts of the delightful market town of Watlington. There is also brilliant mobile phone signal and we will be able to offer free customer wifi.
Our exact new location can be found using the rather excellent what3words /// repair.squeaks.headlight Directions are also straightforward and are shown in the diagram below. We will be less than 10mins from J6 of the M40, and we are approximately 10miles from our old location. As well as making use of our popular delivery/collection service you may also avail of our recently acquired loaner car, a 2010 Freelander 2 Automatic check with us if its available when you call/email to book work on your Land-Rover.
Thanks to the wonders of modern tech you can continue to contact us using our existing phone number and our email and website addresses wont be changing of course!
As you can appreciate, my immediate focus is now on the actual move. We've accumulated quite a lot of "stuff" over the past 25years and over the past 6months we (and really I mean Shawn) have been sifting through what we plan to take with us. We've over 9 pallets-worth of spares for a start!
We will continue to work out of our current location in Radnage until the 1st week in July while we also move all the non-essential equipment & spares to Watlington. We will then close for a couple of days to strike down the final (large) items like our ramps and get them installed again ready for use.
We will be sad to leave our quiet, little bit of the Chiltern countryside however you will find that Watlington is no great metropolis and as industrial estates go, ours retains a very rural feel to it what with all the trees around and the chimes from the nearby St Leonards Church.
Jack, Shawn & I very much look forward to welcoming you to our new workshop very soon.
